DESIGN FOR EDUCATIONAL CONTEXTS
We have expert knowledge and experience in designing educational materials for use in educational settings both in New Zealand and internationally. We understand teaching and learning methodology and the role resources play in the classroom. We work with students, teachers and others in the education sector to understand the features of quality learning materials.
INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN PRINCIPLES We developed the Ministry of Education's instructional design principles which specifically align with reading levels, Literacy Learning Progressions, the New Zealand Curriculum and the National Standards.
QUALITY ASSURANCE EXPERTISE
We are both senior designers with experience developing quality assurance processes. We understand the digital and print publishing processes and the crucial stages for design, content and testing QA checks.

MĀORI AND PASIFIKA RESOURCES
We are experienced at designing resources for Māori and Pasifika audiences. We understand the cultural values and practises that relate to these audiences; from the use of macrons, to culturally-appropriate photo editing to the inclusive style required throughout the development/consultation process.
